In my heart and Mind I wonder am I awake or still sleeping. I open my eyes and see the darkness of my room and sillouhettes appear on my walls from the light which has snuck through the windows. It's very early, still, and dark and light are caressing one another oh so gently. Saying their goodbyes.
I was watching HBO'S "the new pope"...loving the introduction with Jimi Hendrix's "All along the watchtower". And I think about the horrors of the 'church' and the link to the holy bible where Christian society has it's desire in bringing forth end times. As I read through Washington Monthly, an online subscription, the article by Nancy LeTourneau, "Pompei AlignsU.S Foreign Policy with Christian Zionists" generates a longing in me to inform the world, well, maybe just my little world.
It sparks my memory and I return to my classroom days at the UVIC Indigenous governance program. Sitting there I had been learning so much historical information and was relating it to contemporary lifestyles of myself and my 'community'. I was a born again Christian, but this knowledge was wreaking havoc on my belief system. I had already consumed the bible five times...front to back every time..sometimes writing notes, memorizing verses, etc. I suggested to my professor Dr. Corntassell that I felt that Christian people were trying to bring about the end times by their manifest destinies, their desire for world domination through capitalism and religious order.
LeTourneau writes that the Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo (political animal), talked Trump into the assassination of Qasem Soleimani (and Vice President, Mike Pence), stated to have an obsession with Iran since he was on congress, with the c.i.a. And now with the state department. They have "failed to address the question of what motivates his interest". It's suggested that Trump is being raised up like Queen Esther, "to help save the Jewish people from the Iranian menace" LeTourneau writes it as a "Real theocratic takeover, the ayatollah's have grievously deprived the Iranian people of that most basic, simple, fundamental right, their right to worship".
I became a born again pagan as I began to understand that indigenous nations worldwide are being asked to conform to Christian Zionist beliefs and capitalism or suffer the consequences. It's playing out on a daily basis as technology will be the means to distract the world from the ever encroaching imperialist dictators.
